I’ve been helping humans move along the path to wellness as a certified coach for 26 years.

My journey began in New York City’s first (and at the time only!) personal training gym. Over my many years solving physical problems with my clients I realized the source of pain isn’t always the place of pain. Recovery, rest, diet, stress, emotional load, sleep, mindset, purpose and intention play enormous roles in our integrated health. I’m a curious problem solver with a team mindset. Together we uncover the best actions to support your wellbeing so you can continue to move toward your dreams and goals. If you are ready to take responsibility for your health and know your unique needs, I am ready to work with you.

Who hires me?

Motivated and intelligent learners who have tried many other singular solutions to their physical problems, to no avail. My ideal clients are ready to learn about themselves and are open to coaching.

What’s the whole picture?

The whole picture is about progress, not perfection. I was; a cigarette smoking, long red nails, hair highlights, late nights at the theater, eat then starve then punish myself at the gym, human. What made me change and progress? Love. I wanted kids. I quit smoking and sugar to get pregnant.

But I held fast to other habits for a long time. Then my eldest son was struggling with his growth, so I did the research and realized how I was offering him a vegetarian diet didn’t serve him going from 4 foot tall to 6’4” in a few years. So I changed that habit. I kept abusing my body to process my feelings, one year I even ran an ultramarathon and then a marathon a month later. I was really sad and needed to breathe through it.

I am on the path, too. I am not a judge but a fellow traveler who has invested a great deal of time and money into learning. Let’s meet you where you are, love you where you are, and go down the road together toward your best self.

My clients have come to help me learn in many ways, teen athletes with Type 1 diabetes, late diagnosis MS, double knee replacements, hip replacements, elder safety and stability, scoliosis, epilepsy, teens with growth hormone delays, platelet-rich plasma integration, loss of limb, edema, heart conditions, orthopedic plates and pins, patella-femoral syndrome, labral tears, upper cross syndrome, parasite infections, partial lung removal rehabilitation, sarcopenia, osteoporosis, osteopenia, leg length discrepancies, lower cross syndrome, hashimoto’s disease, prostrate cancer, breast cancer, lung cancer, torn meniscus, torn ACL, torn MCL, chronic tennis elbow, spinal stenosis, bulging discs, spinal fusions.

The number of ways our body can communicate a problem are few. The number of solutions at our fingertips are many. I like to surround the dragon and come at the problem from many sides.

We must know why we want to do the work to be healthy, what in your life or future is worth the work?
